In pursuit of backward integration by way of securing its requirement of Input of Sponge Iron, Ferro Alloy and Pig Iron for its 2 Plants in Durgapur as well as with an aim of Growth Group is setting up Integrated Steel Plant of 1.2 MTPA at Raghunathpur, Purulia in the name of Nakshit Iron & Steel Pvt Ltd (100% subsidiary of Amit Metaliks Ltd.) on land given by WBIDC.
The company is in the process of Project Planning and getting Environment Clearance and implementation will start very soon.
